Web Site Graphics Designer
Active Online is a growing Internet Marketing company. We specialise in Internet Marketing, Web Design & Application Development. Our key objective is to assist small and medium sized companies leverage the Internet to generate sales and sales leads.
Due to growth in demand for our services we require an experienced, creative, and motivated graphic designer to produce draft concept designs, break these design into W3C compliant CSS and XHTML and assist in the build and implementation of all Internet projects.
Main areas of responsibility:
Work in conjunction with the lead designer, project management, marketing
and development team to deliver productive websites. You will be responsible
for design concepts and the front-end build.
Required experience:
This is a great opportunity for a web designer with 2+ years commercial web
design experience who wants to work with a small but dynamic team. You will
need to demonstrate graphic design skills.
Required Skills:
Excellent knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator.
Excellent knowledge of HTML/XML/DHTML, Javascript and CSS.
Required attributes:
Have a commitment to delivering first class service to all clients. Disciplined,
organised and thorough. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a small,
dynamic team. Ability to take ownership & resolve
issues.
Ideal candidate:
Recognised Design qualification.
Web design company background.
Experience in e-commerce site design.
Some Flash animation skills
Flair for brand identity concept and design
Advertising creative and production experience
Some print experience
Some knowledge of Perl/ASP/PHP a plus
