  * Active Online has created an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for customers
     to protect our resources, and the resources of our customers
     and peering networks in order to provide a high speed network, high
     availability services and to ensure that Active Online comply with all relevant
     Irish laws.
  * This AUP must be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.
  * It is the responsibility of all customers of the Active Online network and
     services to ensure that they comply with the latest edition of the AUP at
     any given time.

Web Site Hosting
  * By submitting an activeonline Web hosting order form you 
    acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our full terms 
    and conditions for this service, and that you are entering into 
    a binding contract for service.
 * Payment for hosting orders are required within 7 days
    of the request for registration, if payment is not met within 14
    days an administration charge of  €150.00 may be charged.

FREE Domain Name Registration & Hosting
 * Upon receipt of an order, and if your choice of domain is available,
    registration occurs automatically and registration fees are paid 
    on your behalf. Due to the nature of this service refunds are not
    possible and submitted orders can NOT be cancelled.
 * Domain Names are distributed on a first come, first served basis.  
    Your desired web address may not be available.
 * By submitting an activeonline domain & hosting order form you 
    acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these and our full 
    terms and conditions for this service, and that you are entering into 
    a binding contract for service.
 * Domain Name Registration is FREE for one year only when ordered
    with a hosting account. Renewal charges apply after the first year
    is over.

Web Site Design
  * Projects of a total value of €1,500.00 or less must be paid for in advance.
  * For project in excess of €1,500.00,  a deposit of 35% of the total project
     cost is required in advance.

 * activeonline is not responsible for the textual content of 
    pages that it provides under this offer for customers. 
 * activeonline reserves the right to deem the content of any 
    page inappropriate and therefore ineligible for our service.
 * The  €550, €750 or €950 fee is a charge for the processing
    time for creating the Web page(s). 
 * Updates and changes other than corrections or typos will
    require an additional processing fee. 
 * Due to the nature of this service, the fee must be paid in
    advance and refunds are not possible.
 * activeonline has the final judgment of what is and what is 
    not a correction or a typo.
 * activeonline is not responsible for damage or loss to pictures 
    that are sent to us via standard mail.

 

Unauthorized Use of Images, logos, Designs, Design templates, Layouts, stylesheet, Copy, script or application produced by Active Online: In the event that i) you utilise any image, design, design template, layout, stylesheet, copy, script or application whether Rights-managed, Royalty-free or open source, without or prior to the granting of a license, or ii) you utilise any image, design, design template, layout, stylesheet, copy, script or application for any use other than that indicated on the invoice, including but not limited to the number of uses, the publications utilised, or the size or reproduction, Active Online reserves the right to seek damages through legal channels unless you agree to reimburse Active Online as follows. Since it is difficult to determine damages resulting from unauthorised usage, Active Online agrees to forgo our right to sue you for copyright infringement on the condition that you agree to pay, as liquidated damages: i. a sum equal to two (2) times the normal price we would have charged for the production of such an image, logo, web design, design template, layout design, stylesheet, copy, script or application Active Online will calculate a usage fee by relying in good faith on the information you provide and will issue an invoice detailing the license granted. If you fail to make the payment as outlined above within ten (10) days of our billing such fee, this liquidated damage provision shall be void and we reserve the right to sue for copyright infringement plus legal' fees and all associated costs.
