RTE's popular TV programme "Operation Transformation" has gone mobile!

A facility for closer interaction with fans of Operation Transformation was developed to allow some participation on a personal level with the TV programme.

A bespoke mobile web application was created that allows fans to track their own progress in relation to the "Leader" that they are following. Users of MYOT.IE can upload their own weight and waist measurements on a regular basis and have these charted against the leader they are following.

In addition, subscribers can follow their friends (Buddies) progress using the same application.

The decision to "go mobile" for this mini web application was easy. With more and more people accessing information on the web via smartphones for convenience, it made sense to make the primary context for this mini-web app the mobile user. Menus, shopping lists are therefore more accessible while food shopping. Excercise programmes and weight measurement data entry is easier via mobile ain comparasion to powering up a PC.
